Much stiffer OEM style lower engine torque mount for the 2013 Focus ST NOW AVAILABLE!
![]() Since the release of the 2012+ Ford Focus, many owners have been complaining of the inadequacy of the lower engine torque mount. In an attempt to keep NVH from the engine transferred to the chassis to an absolute minimum, Ford decided to use rubber with a durometer that is way too soft for any type of performance driving. To our absolute surprise, they decided to use the exact same mount on the all new 2013 Focus ST. Unbelievable! While researching into offering an aftermarket replacement, we stumbled upon an OEM mount with a very similar build as the factory mount but with a much stiffer bushing. The mount fit so well that it is almost as if it was the intended mount for the application but Ford decided to soften it up at the last minute. Lucky for you we have located these and are offering them at a great price. This mount is approximately 3-4 times stiffer* than the factory mount yet it doesn't transmit any noticeable vibrations into the cabin. We have tested it with great results and feel this is the ultimate replacement for any individual who races or drives their Focus aggressively. *2-3 times stiffer than the Mazdaspeed mount NOTE: Some contact might still occur between mount and crossmember under very hard shifting, specially on the 1st to 2nd gear shift. For heavy racing applications we recommend installing a mount with polyurethane bushings. Click here for the product.

installed mine this evening, took the car out and did a couple of hard launches and i had no bangs from contact. there was minimal wheel hop but for me this is the perfect mount, no vibes and much stiffer than the stocker..thanx CFM
a pic of the two side by side ![]() another pic to show how flimsy the stocker is

Considering that many of us na folk are upgrading the RMM to the MS3, you would think that Ford could have been decent enough to let the non-tuner ST owners at least start there. Especially considering the additional 100 ft lbs stock... I bet it sounds really good though...
