They'll be a little wider, and a little taller, but should fit fine. Adding a taller sidewall will cause our speedo to read a little slow and MPG may go down a bit. Since the taller tire affects final drive gearing, it may be a bit slower 0-60. It'll soak up bumps a little better as well.

225/45R17 will fit within your fender well. Even a full compression of the suspension they won't rub. I'm running 235/45/17 Falkens on the black Ford wheels with the machined lip. The OEM call out size for the 17" wheel option is showing up as a 215/50R17. Comparing that size to the 225/45R17 looks like this:

Your 225's will be

-0.24" on sidewall height
+0.4" on section width
-0.49" on overall diameter
-1.55" on circumference
+15.6 revolutions per mile

Allow +/- 0.2" for differences in brands specific sizes (as in they are listed as a size but may be a hair larger or smaller for reasons like steel banding or tread design, etc)

According to the given numbers above if your speedometer reads 65 mph your actual speed will be 63.74

Always a good bookmark to have for us gearheads.
