Any Problems?

So far love my Focus but discovered a minor issue the other day. At first none of my One Touch Power Up/Down windows would operate. The windows worked fine, it was the one touch feature that wasn't working. Then one day the driver's window and the passenger side rear started to work. So far the driver's side rear and the passenger window still don't work. Had tint applied so I had to wait until a day off and I'm taking it in on Friday. I just hope they don't have to dig too deep to find the problem.

This sounds stupid but works try spraying WD40 in the switch and working the switch a bit.I wouldnt even take the switch out just spray it in and let it soak. They could of got soap or whatever chemical they used to put the tint on in the switch.Soap leaves a film. The film clogs contacts.

I noticed the windows didn't work before I got the tint done. I'm going to let warranty take care of it.

I called the service department and they said it's a programmed feature so it should be an easy fix.

Where you able to get your window button fixed? Mine was fine for the first few thousand miles. Now just the driver side button doesn't work properly. I have to repeatedly press the button hard for the window to go down.

was it a problem with the switch or was the one-touch just disabled? you know you can turn it off with some arcane up-down-up-down-up-down (b-a-start) sequence right?

i read on this forum that you have to put the window down, then keep the button pressed for a few seconds, the one touch will activate again...
