Talking Vent switch is stuck/jammed?

I just bought an 05 ZX4 and the vent knob is stuck in the floor/defrost mode, It will turn to the right to just "defrost" but WILL NOT budge anywhere towards the left. The heat works....very well. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine sticks on my 07 zx3 too. Replaced the havoc control panel on mine and that didn't fix it.

FWIW, B4 getting too deep into diagnosis/repair of what MAY be broken, I'd suggest the "sticky" at the top of this page as a first step to at least TRY a simple fix....

Luck!
