Electrical Question/Alternator
I was thinking about putting 2 12" subwoofers into a 2003 ford focus SE sedan (110 amp alternator stock one). The subs put out 250 rms and 1000 peak watt power each so 500 rms and 2000 peak power each, I'm only hooking the subs to an amp that puts out 500 x 1 Rms @ 2 ohms and 1000 x 1 peak power @ 2 ohms. My question is would this setup ruin my alternator and such and start making my lights dim in my car when I hit bass drops?

Could yes , a tune will help this ,
Tune can raise the idle to 950-1000 rpm and change when the Alt charges and by how much , I have done this for a bunch of guys that have competition sound systems and daily ones , works good Tom
