LOL. Coming from a jeep grand cherokee my 2013 Focus feels tiny. Hard to imagine what the older focus would have felt like.

It doesnt get as hot in NY as it does in Hotlanta, but last summer the AC in my 2012 worked so good, i had to turn the heat on to even it out at times. It works great.

I'm in the Daytona Beach area, where it gets very hot and humid. The A/C functions splendidly.

I too totaled a Speed3 but got a 2013 Focus Ti. I live in Texas and the summer heat hasn't hit yet but the A/C has worked well so far. It's very comfortable set at 70 and you can't even feel the compressor when it's on. I suggest you tint the windows too.

I commute an hour each way to/from work. In the summer (even with the AC on) I'm fairly cool but then I get out and my entire back is just covered in sweat. I think it's just me, though because I've always sweat a lot. I wish the Focus could get perforated leather or air conditioned seats like the Explorer.

If I can't get perforated leather or that fancy stuff (suede/Alcantara?) for my next car purchase, I'll go cloth.

i feel like the focus is a little larger in the interior space for some reason same rear leg room when i sit in it as my WJ hahaha.

as for the thread

RI usually gets very calm summers but last year we had a few scortchers with high humidity my Focus was quite good at cooling down quickly and staying quite comfortable. this could be though that coming from said jeep which as Jeremy Clarkson once quoted "the ac was like an asthmatic breathing through a straw"

I had 2 WJs. I agree on the back seat legroom. The AC in mine were cold though, but they were prone to leaks in the coils and the coils were near. impossible to get to.
