My SVTF is running horribly!

So recently I've had some problems with my SVTF, the problems I've been having make me believe it's the EGR valve and solenoid, but apparently SVTF's don't have one? Shouldn't all cars have one?

So then what might my problem be? For a few days it was bucking when I accelerated to around 2400-2500 and obviously got worse the more I accelerated. The bucking has stopped, but now my car is just sort of bi-polar lol. Sometimes it feels like it has absolutely no power even if I floor it, it rev's up verrrrrry slowly and around 3300 begins to gain a little power but idle is normal. It will do that for awhile, until it decides to idle at around 3200. When I'm switching gears it revs up to like 4100-4500.

Bad vacuum leak maybe. Check the rubber intake hoses on the manifold. Just changed mine with CFM ones and it runs better. Mine wasn't running as bad as yours sounds though.

On a side note check your air filter. Father in laws ranger(2.3 duratec) ran like crap. I pulled the filter and mice decided to make a cozy little home in there.

Maybe the Mass air-flow sensor needs cleaning....clean mine once a year and i also pull the throttle body and clean it. But i also run a AEM CAI. It gets a little gummy with the breather hose running to it.

I'm suspecting it to be somewhere around my intake, I'm running an AEM CAI also and whoever had the car before didn't mount it, it's just hanging there and there's nothing protecting it so I'm hoping it's just clogged and a new filter/cleaning will do the trick. I'm gonna pull it off later and see what happens.

I used CRC Mass cleaner & there throttle body cleaner. If you remove the throttle body be careful about the little gasket behind it.

I bought a new Dry-flow AEM filter from Advance Auto...it was like $50.
