An update. The car is shifting smoother but its still having an issue. If I do a rolling stop the car seems to not be shifting to first gear. When I role up to a red light and it turns green before I have a chance to fully stop or when I have to slow down on an entrance ramp on the highwaythen get on the gas it doesn't down shift. No slipping of any sort. The guy I got it from had the fluid changed at 77,000 and I just changed the filter and fluid at 114,000. Im thinking the shift cylinder for first or lockout may have something to do with this. Maybe converter but I highly doubt that. any ideas? I have changed tps, maf, coil, wires and plugs. I have no cel on. Im taking it to aamco this week but could use some feed back before hand. Thanks in advance. I also had to replace the entire wireing harness from front to back because of a short to ground on the coil and maf harnesses. Im gonna reclean all plugs and regrease them. It feels like its not getting a signal to open the valve and its building up a lot of pressure and forcing the valve open. It will down shift, just have to give it to much gas . I know this is going to lead to big problems sooner than later if it isn't fixed quickly.

This is the exact problem my 2000 Wagon has, I will be following this thread with interest. Let me know how you make out, if you get it figured out.

Thanks,
Greg
