Definitely sounds shady, making up TSBs so they don't have to fix anything

The production software might have been different, however there has been no newer TSB released than 12B37, which went through at least two revisions before as people claim that the later programming like the 13s refuses to shift to 6th before 40 mph where as the original programming and every update until then would shift into 6th as low as 35 mph.
What was the change on the tranny hardware in march?

I don't know off hand, but there has been no newer revision of the transmission assembly listed on fordparts.com since then as a service part level. My car built 4/23/12 has a transmission built on 3/30/12 as far as I recall. There was a minor revision to 12B37 since late March, but the timeframe that 12B37 allegedly applied to was prior to 3/28/12.

My car has the same service part number and revision level listed for the transmission assembly.

3/28/12 was supposed to be the date they implemented the changes, so 12B37 was only meant to affect cars built before then, but the dealers have still been allegedly reprogramming later build cars with it if they hear complaints about jerky shifting.

Put your vin in at www.fordparts.com in order to find out what service revision of the powershift transmission you have.

They're just reloading the same thing to see if it relearns or goes away is what I'm betting, no actual update.

Under transmission system, automatic transaxle select transmission assembly.

My car shows up as BV6Z-7000-F which is the same service part revision level as found by any of the 2013 Models I've checked.

So short of them having newer software that they are secretly putting out to replace FSA 12b37 there hasn't really been a change since then to the powershift at least in the Focus.

Wow thanks mine is F as well. If you select just 2012 focus without the vin there is B C D and E as well. That means that there were 4 revisions?
And there are 2 types of " valve body " as well.

Generally, when they say they applied a "new" tsb, they're usually just re-installing the tsb from last spring. It usually helps for a short time (2-4 weeks, I'd say) but once the computer re-learns driving habits it's back to the crap.
