Yeah, I don't want to screw anything up. Plus, it will take me more than 1 day and I'll need a car with working headlights to get to work while I do the wiring / swap. Also, I will screw it up, then I'll have no headlights.

That is why you ALWAYS buy another set to work on. This way you can take your time, and if your retro messes up in a year you can just swap back the old headlights making your car useable. (I did this with my old ride, didn't think I need the old set till about a year later when I was having problems with the ballasts.)

If you want to retrofit, buy a cheap set of regular ones off eBay, it is just nice to have in case you cock up the retrofit and should things go well (and why wouldn't they), its nice to have a backup in either case.

I feel bad for us, we have precisely nothing in the aftermarket.

My other car has everything from 375 a pair for projectors all the way to 800 for full LED units. I'm appalled the Focus hasn't seen such a thing from anywhere yet, the cars been out long enough to warrant it.

They've been in contact. They needed pictures so I sent them. Waiting on them now.

I don't necessarily want HIDs, but I do want the nice cutoff line that projector housings offer.
