05 focus vibration
Hey guys this is the first time I have posted on here! Anyways I have an 05 focus ZX4 SES, I recently put a custom CAI and changed the spark plugs and changed the oil because I was getting horrible gas mileage hoping I would fix the problem. But now when the car warms up and I am driving and start slowing down in gear (standard) I get this vibration when I take my foot off the gas peddle (the RPMs drop and stall if I don't put It in neutral and raise the RPM) not sure what is going on, please help if you have any ideas!

Not changing the coils would the car vibrate like that? Right now I don't really care about gas mileage I just want the vibrating thing to stop!

Figured it out a friend of mine is a licensed mechanic and I described what was going on he said try taking off the CAI filter and make a short ram out of it instead (his theory was the filter got wet from a puddle or snow whatever and froze and couldn't breath while frozen) so I did this, brought the filter in at night let it defrost and changed my CAI into a short ram and it ran perfectly!

I'm currently in that boat! My cars sick( with described problems that started on a rainy night and then it got real cold), but I just got a deal on a steeda Sri for a 2012 ( I have an 06 , but for the price I couldn't let this piece go! ) and will try this in the morning. Crossing my fingers that the maf,s are the same, and that it'll fit.
