Yes stock in front and a 55 AH in trunk right now. Drop to 13.5. But I have 2 102AH that will be going in the trunk for next setup.

I was hoping the stocker was 110 amp alt. That way it seems I was getting so much more with a 270 amp HO alt.. But if stocker is 150 then im only gaining 120 amps.

Kinda considering only doing a 2200 rms setup now and stick with a 200 amp alt and single 100AH battery.

But was planning on 4000 rms, 270 amp alt, and 2 102AH in trunk.

Yeah, Singer told me to just stick with my stock since it is already 150 amps.

I've been looking at getting a HO one for my 2011. When I hit hard the RPM's drop noticeably or when I roll up the windows, turn on the lights, ect. the RPM's drop and I feel a little shake as well. I had ford check it while still under warranty and they said its fine. But now Im no longer under warranty, I dont want to get left stranded!

Does anyone know about the 2012's?? I would assume that all trims have the same alternator. I'm running about 900 watts rms and I get a slight dim at idle when I'm pushing it pretty hard. I'd bet a second battery would be easier but just some food for thought.

I suggest check some of the mk3 threads as this is for mk2's. also if you call ford they'll tell you.

I dont feel like a need a HO alt anymore lol. My voltage at the amp is 14.5 at normal listening volume and the lowest I have got it to at full tilt and heavy bass notes is 13.9 lol

And I would not worry about this as mine did this even when I had taken my system out for a while. I would sit at stop lights and hit the window button just to the the rpms fluctuate lol
