Backfire Through intake Manifold

Just wondering if anyone has come across this. I've recently had my Intake Manifold blown to pieces from a backfire through the Intake. The car had sat still in frigid frigid temps and upon starting it to move it into the garage I heard a loud pop and...well....disaster. So I've heard it could be timing, Vacuum Hose, pcv, bad O2 sensor etc,....Any help is welcome.

it's not unheard of with the SVT. Several threads describe the problem.

This is more common then most think , I tell all my SVT customers to hold full throttle till they hear the engine turning then let off the throttle , by doing this if the engine backfires and if it backfires will happen in the first rotation , it will take you that long to let off full throttle , the pressure from the backfire will be blown out the intake piping do no damage
