broken seat

my driver seat in my 03 focus wont adjust up or down and the seat heater doesnt heat. the light switches on but no heat.

has anyone else had this problem?

I have the same problem with my '04 SVT, but only the seat heater. Haven't checked it out yet, but I assume it is the button itself that isn't making a complete connection. Pushing the button for the driver-side heater feels slightly different than the functional passenger side button.

Check the plug under the seat the wire`s are small gauge and one might be broken the seat heater pad on the seat bottem is what goes bad on these I have replaced mine twice also did you check the fuse`s or relays for the seat?
