if you want it purely for wheels, just get some conversion spacers for $200-300. PM me and I can recommend a place that will custom make them out of forged aluminum to spec. I ran 20mm on my subaru with no issues. Just remember, whatever offset wheels you get, subtract 20mm (spacers). A +55 wheel would be +35 which will be aggressive if you don't have rolled fenders and f/r camber adjustment.

However from the beginning of the MK2's release they always used the 5x108 mm bolt pattern, same as the Volvo S40/V50, where as the MZ3 used the 5x114.3 bolt circle instead because they are Japanese and had to be difficult essentially.
