I have noticed when i drive out in the country (i live in superior and drive to LaCrosse and there is nothing for a couple hundred miles, NOT flat land up here either) i lost a few channels but nothing that would make me upset or switch back...

Torque 1 from Horsepower Freaks. No problem whatsoever; moved it from my 2011 Focus to my 2013.

Does anyone know of an antenna that would increase reception? My Focus AM reception is not as good as that of my Taurus X. The talk station I listen too fades when I get near work, but I drive my wife's TX, it holds the staion longer.

You might try your dealer, here's a service bulletin that was posted a few weeks back

5599 - 2011-2013 Multiple Vehicle Lines - Poor AM Reception
Some 2011-2013 Explorer / Fiesta, 2012-2013 Focus, 2013 Flex may exhibit poor AM radio reception with no FM or satellite reception concerns. Review Owner Guide, Entertainment System, Radio Reception Factors for a description of characteristi c radio reception influences. Follow Workshop Manual section 415-00, pin point t est "A" to diagnose AM reception concerns. Service inventories have been updated with a revised antenna assembly (18936). Use existing service labor operations for antenna diagnostics and replacement.

My reception is not poor, just slightly inferior to my wifes car. Do you think this still affects me?

I looked up the antena part number and itwas different: 18813
