TPMS, My tire pressure light when off, I added air still on?
Do i need to reset it or does that mean i still need to add more air? will it go off on its own when the tire pressure is correct? Curious as to what i should do. the tires dont look low i added air to all of them and the pressure seems to be right. THanks in advance.

By the sounds of it you're not using a pressure gauge. That would be step 1. Next, take a look at this thread.

I used the one the station had, but doesnt seem very good. I live in SOcal so doesnt get very cold. Its been cold for socal lately at night (~44 at night) that could of caused the loss in tire pressure not sure. Ill get a new gauge and test go back to put air and check psi for each tire, when correct will th elight go off automatically though? sounded like it does on the other thread.

Mine does and another person's does. I fill mine with the car running and when I reenter my car the light is off.

lots of cars will do that when its cold even if u dont need air. my moms honda did it my girlfriends moms car did it and its happened to my dad.

It does that because it DOES need air. Expect your pressure to drop about 1 psi for every 10 degree (F) drop.

iirc the tpms light comes on at 26 psi ... the door sticker for my SE says 35 psi .... if the tpms light is on you need air in the tire(s)

Some newer systems use wheel speed sensors in conjunction with the TPMS... some vehicles need to be "rolled" a mile or two before the computer realizes the pressures are ok.

That being said; I'm not as familiar with the mkIII's as the owners on here...
