Gauge problem

My gauges don't fully light up. When I turn them on, I can see of the green coming through. I got it this way. Any help would be appreciated. And yes the needles light up.

This is supposed to be a common problem.
Most people find it is a fault with the dimmer / headlight switch.

It only lights up around the edges in spots. But most of it is not lit.

It could be the inverter going out, the inverter is integrated in the AUX cluster. Or the el-glow sheet, which is the source of illumination, has burned out.
