Another question, haha.
Well I seem to be doing more asking than answering around here, but this will hopefully be one of the last times I have to ask anything. Anyways, I want to drop my car (1.5in FRPP springs). Do I have to upgrade my shocks and struts or will stock do? (keep in mind my struts will be new because the noise in my right front has been narrowed down to the strut). My car is a DD and will not, sadly, see the track. Also, if I have to use upgraded bits will I have to add a rear swaybar? I know that the SVT suspension says one is recommended but I don't have the holes for one...
I just wanna drop my car but I wanna do it right. Thanks for any help!

It is recommended that you replace the struts/shocks when you lower your car. Yes, your car should be fine in the short run with those lower springs but they will quickly destroy your shocks/struts. If you are replacing your struts anyways, just get the FRPP shocks/struts, do it right the first time and it will save you work and money in the future. It will also handle and perform better, so the right way means replacing shocks/struts at the same time
![]() You do not need to add a rear sway bar but if you do not have one, then adding that will be beneficial to your overall handling. I suggest a 21-22mm rear bar and poly bushings/endlink bushings. If you do not have the mounting for one, Steeda makes a kit that allows you to attach one. I also went ahead and moved this thread to the suspension section. |

So I would just need these?:
http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/for...dware-kit.html http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/for...nsion-kit.html I may just use the .5in lowering springs that comes with that instead of also buying 1.5in lowering springs, to save a little $. I can't do these mods myself so paying a garage to do it will probably cost alot. Edit: would I also need?: http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/For...cus%20Endlinks and http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/for...hing-kits.html Or option 2 would be just this: http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/for...nsion-kit.html and put the sway bar on in the future?
