Joking aside, no, it would not be cheap to use nitrous all the time. Also, it is illegal in most states, unless this car never gets driven on public roads.

Only illegal to drive with the bottle hooked up. Nitrous is always great but a decent set up with all the safety features and extras will cost you over a grand. My set up on my old car I had close to $1200 in it. Plus bottle refills depending where you are can range from $30-$70 for a 10 pound bottle.

If you want to get to the legality part of it, most of the things done to cars on this site or, any site for that matter is illegal in most states.

If you want to look at the cheap part, the op is looking for horsepower. I am sure he would want said horsepower all the time. It would get expensive real quick to be filling nos bottles daily.

Last time I filled a bottle up, it was 4.25-4.50/lb... Not that expensive at a daily fill interval.

Second I advise you to remember that this is a Ford Focus, not exactly a performance vehicle. You probably got all of none horsepower from that intake. Probably none from the exhaust as well.
Good luck.
Someone's bitter. Actually people are gaining +20 hp from intake and exhaust alone. Add a header and you could break 180 whp which is very respectable to me.
