CFM lower chassis brace

So now that I've ruled FI out of the equation for my SVT, for various reasons, expense being the biggest, the fact that it's already got enough power to get me in trouble is another...I'm looking to put the existing power to the ground.

The current to-do list includes tower brace, rear brace, and maybe the CFM 4 point lower brace. However, CFM's site says the lower brace may not work on cars lowered more than 1.5"...mine is lowered 2". Anyone ever used the CFM brace with a lowered car?

You can't use the 4 point I believe there's a 2 point which is the one for the svt someone correct me if I'm wrong and it's not that you can't use it it's just how much do you wanna scrape on the ground ;). I've heard some people say they aren't even worth the money and stuff but I like the idea of them personally.

There is a SVT fitment option for the 4 point, mainly wondering if I'll be bottoming out constantly if I install it on my lowered car.

There is a thread in the showroom from last year on a lowered SVT...sounds like speed bumps can be an issue...

Yea I used to have chassis stiffening an xbrace on my maxima and speed bumps were an issue for me as well. But if you go nice and slow at an angle it works quite well. Other than that I have no information for you.

I park in a ramp everyday that has HUGE bumps...the lower brace may not be a great idea for my car.

Yea probably not then haha, could always return it to stock height which i dont think is even that high and then get it and the stock shocks and springs i think are still pretty damn impressive... how do you like the upper stress bars quick side note? worth the money?

I don't have them yet...they're simply on my list of things to install this spring. *OP edited for clarity...

Work on the car has halted for the winter months...lots of new stuff is going to get installed come springtime!

I figure...front and back braces are cheap, and my suspension is already modified enough to put me in a prepared class...might as well right?

yea true theyre not that bad of price... i saw you posted in the tb thread they give better throttle response so basically no hp gains or anything just like the car is ready to go at the blip of throttle type of speak...
