If you want something specifically for gaming I suggest a PC LCD monitor with HDMI. You get faster response time with a PC monitor because it does very little image processing vs. a TV.

Also, if you're into competitive gaming a smaller screen is better since you're eyes don't have to scan the screen nearly as much.

i was thinking a smaller screen but i wasnt sure about something that small. i do know that refresh rates are faster then on bigger ones. maybe like a 32 inch led or lcd idk yet.

LED is much nicer than LCD, but it is also much more expensive. which I s why I went with LCD. I don't regret my decision.

Here is my set up.

My cat enjoying family guy.

If your game play is lagging call up your Internet provider and purchase more bandwidth. You can also go on your router and dedicate the MAC address of your Xbox/PS3 to get the most bandwidth out of any of your devices when it is turned on. You can also give other devices small amounts of bandwidth. I do this to keep my roommate from hogging all the bandwidth while he torrents movies.

LED is the same thing as LCD but typical LCD TV's use CCFL backlighting... So saying LED vs LCD is redundant because they are both LCD panels lol

I have an LED TV and I would never use a CCFL TV again. Blacks are black, whites are white, colors are vibrant and sharp. Mmmmm PLUS the LED TVs are SUPER thin and lightweight and they use less electricity.

First you say you can't compare the two because they are the same tv, that would be stupid.

Then you say LED is better and I would never go back.

What? (I'm not trying to troll or anything just trying to make sense of what you just said.)

That's like saying the srt ram and the srt viper are the same car they both share the same engine. Comparing them would be stupid.

Then saying I got the viper is faster, lighter, louder more fun to drive and I would never go back to that truck.

LED is the backlighting method on newer TVs
Traditional LCD televisions use CCFL backlighting.

So saying LED vs LCD doesn't make any sense because they are both LCD TV's

Saying LED vs CCFL is the correct argument.

Also, Thanks again Newegg for taking my mod money!
