Question A few questions about my SVT.

Hey all-

I've noticed what may be a vacuum leak within in past few days. When i hit the gas it sounds like a blow-off valve near the firewall. Is it a vacuum leak? And how can I fix it?

Also. I was browsing underneath my car when I pulled my IAC valve and I noticed there was oil leaking around my PCV valve. Is this a major problem?

I have a replacement PCV valve if that's what I need to fix.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the to elbow clamps? Or the intake manifold couplers? Ford uses non adjustable clamps on both sections, they can loosen over time. The intake oem couplers a known for leaking. CFM sells replacement couplers and clamps. With the car on idle you can spray some brake clean around areas. If you hear a change in idle you found your problem.

As for the pcv valve, I would replace the rubber grommet too. It's only a few dollars.
