Focus Svt Stereo Upgrade Needed!

[2003_FOCUS_SVT]

I have a 2003 Focus ZX5 SVT with the Audiophile 6 Disc changer in-dash stereo. I want to upgrade to a video dvd/mp3/something radio, perhaps touch screen. I can't seem to find anything that is 1.5 DIN to fit, so what has everyone else been doing and using?

I have the JVC KD-AVX1 and i also have the AVX2, they work great in my car are fairly cheap and the have great options, like video out for headrest monitors, backup camera (i need this because my 5% tint) and video in like a xbox....or you could get a single din flip out but it blocks the ac vents

hope this helps....by the way the picture on my JVC is awesome you woudnt think it by its size but it is far better than anyf lip out ive seen

yeah you can get a flipout and like ^he said it does block a portion of the ac vents . mine is mounted in the opening at the top so i have the pocket at the bottom of my hu. if you get the dash kit with the pocket in the top, it might help out with that problem.

if you want a double din sized screen. you will have to modify your dash to accept the larger double-din headunit.

I have 2003 Ford Focus SVT and I still have the stock car stereo in my car. I would love to replace it with Clarion NX702 w/Navigation. Is it possible that this product will fit in my car? I was hoping that some of you have this product in your cars? Thank you for replying

That is a double-DIN unit so you will have to cut out a bit of the plastic on your bezel and underneath your dash.

There's many quides on this site that explain this with pictures. Good luck.
