2004 ZX3 front end/rear end refresh
Hey everyone. I have a 2004 ZX3 with a Zetec in it and 132,000 miles. I am in the process of replacing all front/rear suspension of my car for a refresh. Since I don't want to buy a new car, I am going to throw some money at mine. Once the suspension and brakes are done, I will be moving to the motor.
I drive 130 miles round trip to work and want to make my car ride likes it's new. I would like some input of what I should get. This is what I have gotten replaced so far 1. New Front wheel bearings (both sides) 2. New shocks/struts 3. New strut/shock mounts 4. New Rotors/pads/drums 5. New front Sway bar end links (Moog) 6. New tie rods 7. Newer tires (Goodyear Assurance triple tread with less than 6,000 miles on them) This is what I am thinking of adding. What else should I add? 1. CV axles (What brand should I buy?) 2. Lower Control arms with ball joint (Moog) What should I do for the Rear? Thank you for your help in advance. |

front control arms a good Idea check your bushes in the rear at 95K mine were all dry rotted.....toe links/ camber arms etc either buy new or get the poly kit, dont worry about the CV's until they are leaking or popping....... EMPI axles from rock auto or OEM

Thanks qweesy, I will have to check my rear bushings this weekend. If they are rotted out then I am going to buy new and not worry about the poly kit.
