I have emailed them for other tuning options. Maybe they are working on things? Wishful thinking? Who knows?

I have gotten a response back already. I need to send either my ECU code or strategy to see if they may be able to configure a tuner (not the item mentioned above) for my application.

Where is the fracking ecu code on this thing? Why did Ford quit putting them in the door jam? Jeez.

The PCM is in a box behind the left front wheel arch liner. The Bosch motronic unit is inside with the PCM codes on a label afaik. I haven't looked at mine, but I've seen it in the manual, and from pictures from other sonic crew members...

Jesus, what were they thinking?

I'll just hook an SCT XF3 tuner to the OBD II port and see if I can pull the strategy that way.

I saw where people were pulling the fender liner to look for the code. Just seemed like overkill. Ford used to put them on both the ECU and on a separate sticker (usually in the door jam).

They don't want people tampering with the ECU, at least not without you paying them for access to the data, or being a preferred supplier, or so it seems.

Ford would be the one you'd need to ask, but its unlikely that you'd get any response.

I hooked an SCT XF3 to the car and was able to pull the info I need. The tuner can at least read the ECU.

Thus there is NO compatibility issue. Just an un-willingness from SCT to tune the car I think.
