My New DD ( Mitsubishi )

Hi folks !

Here's my brand new car. I trade in my 05 zx5 for this 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer DE. Took it with CVT auto. trans. The car has the 2.0L 148hp/145tq Mivec engine. I have the black interior with ''carbonfiber'' style trims and I added weatherteck floor mats.

It was tough to let my Focus go after all the mods I've done to it but I wanted a car with a great warranty. It took 2 days for the dealer to sell the Foci, was showroom clean. I love the aggressive look of the Lancer with the black headlamps and tails. It came with the side skirts. The handling is great and it brakes so well with front and rear disc brakes.

The Lancer is not finish yet, I will return it to the dealer this week to add the GT spoiler, stainless tip for the exhaust and to blackout the front grill like the GT.

Soooo what do you expect people who love Fords are supposed to say when you trade in your Ford for another brand? Sorry, but I am less than impressed.

well everything comes to an end. I'll keep good memories of that car. I loved it but started to cost too much in maintenance. It was very difficult to trade. There's a few people here who bought a car from another brand and no one seems to be insulted.

I'll stay on this forum to look at focuses and to help anyone who would like to do a svt seat swap or whatever I've done to my focus.

Why you no install parts yourself?

Seems like a lateral trade to me, minus the warranty, that will be nice.

Do like the front ends of the lancers. Tails are too "angry" for my taste.

The hubcaps kill the aggressive look of the lancer. Hope they go first ;)

I did not have the equipment for most of parts installed sadly. It was a very fun car tho :) For sure I miss my wheels :p

The lancer looks angry thats true. I looked for a 2012-2013 focus, 2013 hunday accent and 2012 mitsu lancer and I went for the lancer.

Can't wait to see more mods for this car. I like lancers depending on how they are done up. I've seen some really sweet looking white ones.

Un Québécois! Je parle un peu de français - je l'étudiais pour huit mois à ma université, et je veux continuer. Donc, je devrais pratiquer ici! La nouvelle voiture est belle. J'aime l'intérieur, mais je n'aime pas les roues :P La transmission CVT est curieuse... je n'ai jamais conduisays une voiture avec ça. Aimes-tu ça?

Eheh ton français est très bien !:) j'adore l'intérieur aussi, c'est ce que je voulais, tout noir et bien sobre. Pour les roues, c'est ce qui avait de base sur un DE , ce n'est pas ce qui a de plus spectaculaire je te l'accorde :p

La cvt va très bien, je suis suppris du rendement. On ne sens pas les rapports et il n'y a pas d'hésitation.

P.s : je n'ai jamais conduit ;)

They are going fine here in canada, but it's not the biggest seller I have to admit. I just love the car and how it drives :)
