Different driveshafts to manual and auto transmissoin?

Hi Guys and Girls,

I have a Focus 2.0 Zetec 1998 with the MTX75 manual gearbox and Iīm about to change my right hand side driveshaft and will buy it from ebay.

The problem is that almost all of the driveshafts I find for the 2.0 engine is being described as Auto only, but after some reading I canīt find that there is any difference between the manual and automatic transmission driveshafts.

So, my question to you pros out there is.... is there any difference?

Would for example this work for my car even though itīs specified as auto only?

Thank for your help!

Ok, sounds good!

Really confusing that some listings says it will only fit ATX or MTX and other says it will fit both.

Any one else out there with the experience that it wonīt work? Otherwise Iīll order one tomorrow and hope it will work.
