He didn't say it sucked, he pointed out it adds weight and cost. The same car would then need more HP in order to move said weight and overcome said drivetrain loss. Which then drives up the cost further. ESPECIALLY on a platform that was never designed to handle AWD.
Also, stop responding to StockTalon, he's a troll. Always was, always will be.

Well didn't they say that they could pretty easily implement the AWD system from the Kuga since they have similar platforms?
Not saying it would be a good idea, as far as market demand, power loss, price, etc. Wasn't the Euro RS FWD? Seems like that was pretty popular, I doubt Ford would mess with a good thing... Just IMO |

^ yup yup. Like I said, I doubt AWD will happen in the RS, but I would take an AWD RS over a FWD RS anyday. In terms of power, an AWD RS would still smoke a FWD ST

for 35-40k you can get a new v8 camaro, challenger, mustang, or AWD STI, or EVO
As much as I love my focus, I would take any one of those cars before the RS. If it was more in the 30k price range, I might think about it. But I don't personally see that happening. As much as we would love to see the RS here, from a business standpoint, I don't think it is a logical move.

If that's the case I would imagine a even smaller run of them than the ST. Essentially the car would be made for the "Focus Fanatic"... See what I did there?
