Brighter turn signal bulb (tinted headlights)

Does anyone know of a turn signal bulb that would be brighter than stock for when I do the headlight tinting mod?

Thanks in Advance

I just happen to have my headlights sitting on a table while the car is in the shop and realized that I didn't have the number listed in the lighting thread.

appears to be the same wedge base type bulb the early foci use as well. find some led's for it, they'll be your brightest bet

Sylvania says the front turn signal is 7440.

The Plasma LED's are nice. Have them in the rear, picking them up for the fronts. The rear was noticeably brighter.

W21W/7440 share the same relationship as 168/194 bulbs. They are essentially the same in design, but one should be brighter (7440). Cree has some relatively inexpensive bulbs that should be significantly brighter.

Do led bulbs for the turn signals require any modification to the wiring? Is it simply replacing the bulb?

Links or source information to the bulbs you are getting would be nice. Thanks.

That's what I'm getting. You'll need resistors for the signals and brakes if you do the rears.

They're local to me, so I just pick up from them.

This helped with the wiring: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ight=%22LED%22
