The picture show a 3 door model on the assembly line.
The engine is rated at 182PS (~180HP) compared to 197HP for the upcoming NA model.

I asked the Ford reps at the CAS and they weren't able to give me an exact date but they did seem to think it was possible by mid-summer.

I liked the ST I saw on Friday, felt more like my current zx3 on the inside than the new Focus ST does... just has similar dimensions and I really liked their seats. I'd be really interested if they offered a 3 door like pictured here in the states (and HID option would be nice)

They also wouldn't give a price point. I asked one of the reps and was told "it'll be priced under the Focus ST"... Oh ok helpful.

Well, educated guessing would put the price somewhere between 18k and 22k for a Fiesta ST

The European ST is lower powered than ours for tax purposes I believe... though I would be interested to know how much power it actually makes opposed to what it's rated at for marketing...

If dyno results from the Focus ST can tell us anything, it's that Ford is underrating the Ecoboost engines

Anxiously awaiting pricing details and reviews on this little rocket. I think I'm gonna try to drive a regular Fiesta soon to see if it's big enough for me the family, if so, this may be my next car...

I've heard the UK is the only market to get the 3-door. Doesn't matter for me since I'd get the 5-door anyway. HIDs would be a verrrry nice option fromt he factory though, after having Mach's I really don't want to go back to halogens ever. Of course there may be retrofit or aftermarket options as well.

I'm seeing a possible US date for availability of Spring 2013. Sooner than I thought!

Both the 2014 Ford Fiesta and the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST go on sale in the Spring of 2013.

Its all gonna depend on how big your kids are , I've got a 13 Fiesta Sedan and to me its just an over grown 2 seater . I'm 6' 2" and I've got plenty of headroom but the leg room is another story . I've pretty much got the seat almost all the way back and its right up against the back seat.
