miss my subwoofer

hey i have a 2009 SE. i miss my subwoofer from my old car and i was wondering if i can put it in my stock focus SE. it has the stock single CD player. is there any subwoofer outs on the back of the radio? i really dont wanna do that stupid splicing into the rear speakers because that doesnt sound too good.

if i have to get an aftermarket radio what will all happen if i put it in? like how bad will it look having to cut the facia and will the lcd display above the radio be useless or what?

there are no sub outs on the factory headunit that you can use. an aftermarket setup looks just fine. Here's what mine looks like.

If you do it right you can keep your stock radio and still have great sounding speakers. I recently switched from a cheap loc to the AudioControl Lc6i and My system sounds amazzzinggggg! My mids and highs are crystal clear and louuuddd and my sub performs flawlessly. If you are just going to install a sub and not upgrade your door speakers, then the Lc2 would work great for you.
You could go ahead and get the LC6 though incase you decided to get a second amp for your mids and highs in the future.

alright, that doesnt look too bad Kipp. what does the LCD display above your radio say now though? since it usually says the radio station and such. does it just sit there useless now?

also, if i get those lc2's where do they go? what lines does that splice into?

i was probably going to eventually upgrade doors and rears but i wouldnt amp em. they are loud enough as it is for me
