Flip Remote Key
Anyone have any experience with these? It says it fits a 2004, and I have a 2003 which is the same in every way but I was curious if they worked.

Where am I?

Moved to "Ford Focus & General Car Chat". I would not get that key pattern, it's for the European model Fords. You would need something that is for North American Fords. There were a few members with something like that key fob in the past though. From what I remember they were very pleased with them initially but I am not sure how they stood up to the test of time. I am sure someone will be along to answer that question though.

Someone did purchase a flip key from Ebay, transferred the RFID, and made it work. There is a How-To thread on it somewhere. There is also a How-To thread on making a Fusion key with key fob controls built into the key to work in a Focus.
Found 'em. Ebay Flip key Fusion- key with built in remote- mod On the flip key, there are 2 available. One with electronics and one without, so you can purchase the one with the board, swap your RFID, then program the keyless entry part to work with your car. That's what I would do if I wasn't so lazy.
