Where are the beasts?
The first generation has the SVT, RS, and a few V-6/V-8 swaps, the third generation has the ST, so where are all the modded second generation cars, at. I mean really hardcore super awesome more than intake, and exhaust. FSWerks has a pretty decent car, but where are the Fanatics?

Where's our money at you mean?
Why buy a cheap car and mod it? I bought mine because I got a good deal, if I wanted a v8 swap I would have bought a car with a v8. I am sure if we had more money we would all do a lot more to our cars |

I guess mine is highly modded but not quite as much as PSurivie is. I have all of the items in my sig among other things not listed. I didn't go turbo yet because im still under FORD warranty and that would have completely blew it lol.
Most members of the second gen crowd either can't afford alot of performance mods, or are still babying them or under warranty because their cars are still relatively new.

I would put mine under the "heavily" modified catagory since there isn't much left on mine that came with it. But as far as power goes, I am jut starting out. CAI, cosworth header, full exhaust, and a tune. Want to go turbo but cash is tight, I foresee cams in my near future but it comes down to cash on hand before that.
Part of the issue with "monsters" in the second gen platform is we didn't have a performance model from ford. So we have a LOT of ground to make up in order to become awesome, and that takes a LOT of money and time. Psurive has one of the most beastly 2nd gens on here, love that car!

My car is just a DD bought for the MPGs. I see no point in trying to make my Focus fast.

Yeah im with several of these guys.... to do a v6 or v8 swap correctly it would cost you three times what your car is worth if not more.... why waste the money...
