Problem with my brakes
So I jumped in my car yesterday to head to work and I noticed that my brakes were really weak, I had pressure in my brake pedal but it was not stopping me at all. I pumped it slowly a few times and the brakes came back to life. It did this to me again when I went to lunch and when I drove home at the end of the day. I looked at the brake fluid reservoir and it is still full, maybe a little too full, so I don't think I have a leak in my brake lines. Then this morning when I was driving to work again I had to brake hard and I could feel a bit of a oscillation in pedal. If anyone has any insight or has experienced this problem before, please help!

im just spit balling here but it could possibly be a sticking caliper? but if it feels like both sides of the car aren't braking properly that probably isn't it. it would be weird to have 2 sticking calipers at once

Quit driving car before you kill someone, the brakes have failed. Get a mechanic to look at them.........

There is a loss of pressure or power assist going on which needs attention asap.

Looking at weather there it could be water pulled in by brake fluid freezing in there somewhere. Regardless, once hydraulic system quits partially the next stop may be the one with zero brakes at all. This site is aimed toward DIYers, but people, lots of time you have no dickering around time with brakes and going past that can often change your future and not to the good side. Far better to get knowledgeable people to fix that and RIGHT NOW rather than end up on the evening news......
