The only way it "deletes" a catalyst is if you have a PZEV model, all 2012+ Ford Foci have the primary catalyst mounted on the exhaust manifold, and only the P-ZEV models have a secondary post cat behind the main catalyst.

If so then you may have issues come visual inspection time if you don't put it back on the car, but the emissions shouldn't be dramatically affected vs a standard Focus.

There may not be one around right now. They usually have some kind of discount around holidays. Seeing as how the next one is Valentines day though... I don't think they're gonna do anything for it.

I have the K&N Typhoon, and while I love it, I'd recommend the Steeda. K&N uses the stock MAF housing and it has a tendency to crack if you overtighten the filter.

Maybe if some one has a better recording it might not actually sound as bad, but I'm not a fan of the so called professional recording from magnaflow for our cars.
I had a custom 2.5" on my old 2005 ford ranger, and it was a 2.0L Duratec. It was a bit loud for my liking, but sounded great. This is the first and only Magnaflow setup I have owned, but I loved it.

From that experience, I was leaning towards the Magnaflow catback because I don't plan on doing much aside from intake/exhaust.

I am just woried that the FSWerks would drone as it is a 2.5"... what's everyones thoughts?

TL:DR - Magnaflow or FSWerks Stealth Catback?

Anything much bigger than 2.5 and I'd have to start looking into backpressure. I think you wouldnt have any issues, but if you want a deeper sound off of a 2.5" setup, you could always add a resonator...
