Newly Purchased 2003 SVT Focus

Hey guys, obviously I'm new to these forums and didn't know if this is the correct place for this post, so please move if necessary.

Anyway, hello fellow Focus-heads! I've just purchased my first Focus, she's a 2003 Red SVT I picked up for $2300. I never liked Ford, but as soon as I sat in the seat I knew it was the car for me. I start Porter & Chester for Automotive soon, and I figured I wanted something sporty that I could put work into while still having good gas mileage for the half hour commute to and from school.

Here she is:

She's a little dirty after her trip from Long Island to my house in Western CT, but she runs nice. She has some cosmetic damage, such as a crack on the left of the front bumper and a few cracks/scratches on the rear bumper. She also needs a new mirror on the passenger side. After all the cosmetic damage is fixed I plan on blacking-out the head/tail lights and powder coating the rims black also (and possibly the lower spoiler).

Anyone have any modification suggestions? :]

really jealous you found one for that price lol. and mod wise, there are always, drop, exhaust, intake, and wheels. there is a ton of aftermarket for our cars so happy modding and good luck.

and also. you have a whale tale spoiler under your rear glass. and more pics please lol, i wanna see the rest, and that hood...

Thanks guys! I found her on Craigslist and the guy said he needed it gone so I grabbed it. She needs a little bit of work though, it already has an aftermarket AEM cold air but the air filter is clogged to hell and the pipe has a hole in it that's patched up. She also has a bad valve but I'm getting that repaired this weekend. I'll upload more pics later, putting my subs in today :]

EDIT: I wasn't a very big fan of the lower spoiler when I bought it, but I figure if I paint it black along with the rims and lights it should look better.

it is really hard to tell in the pic with the snow/salt/slush, but those don't look like SVT side skirts to me....

would be very interested in seeing more pics.

Nice car for the price! You are missing the SVT sideskirts, you don't have any sideskirts at all. Your lower spoiler is called a mid-wing commonly made by Roush(somebody mentioned it was a whale tail, that's not correct).

I would tint the rest of your windows, paint your hood back to red & lower it. Blacking the wheels out is becoming too common, just get different wheels, the SVT 6-spoke wheels are the best-looking OEM wheels imo.
