I've got a '12 SE Sport w/ moonroof. All the controls for my interior lights are above my head. If its set to come on with the doors then all illuminate when the doors open up. You've basically got three settings, all off, all on, on with doors.

Here's the job 2 differences http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=286898

Try hitting unlock on the keyfob twice. All lights should come on, opening the doors should also work, getting in or out. Also, taking the key out of ignition also illuminates them.
