Car stalling while driving!
I have a 2008 SES and it keeps dying while driving, just as though the key had been turned off. The lights and radio continue to work but the engine dies, able to shift into N and start up again with no problem. This has just started happening in the last couple of weeks. Took it to the dealer today, no luck of course they could not get it to do it, even though it did it on the way to the dealer. Ran the scan on it and no codes. Does anyone know if this car has an idle speed control valve, and if so where is it located and how do we change it? Running out of options on how to fix this car, have already changed out the TB, cleaned the MAF sensor, new plugs and fuel filter, still having problems wondering if this is just a lemon and should simply trade it in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Alternator? It might not be charging the battery enough to make spark, so the engine dies, but it might still charge it enough to run your radio/ lights. Just my guess.
