Loud noise from left rear wheel

hey everyone,

My 2000 zx3 is making a lot of noise from the rear left wheel while driving.

I jack up the rear of the car and spin the wheel but i am not getting much noise.

Is a rear wheel bearing going bad?

Can the wheel come off by itself if I keep driving like this?

If you jack the car up again and grab the wheel on opposite sides and wiggle it you will know if the bearing is bad if there is movement. I replaced both of mine last fall. You would know something is drastically wrong before your wheel would come off. That said....it's a 2 hour job to do if you have someone to press out the old bearing and press in the new one.
