My "new" winter rims

Its already winter up here in Vermont. We have already gotten a good amount of snow.So i thought i would share with you my "new" winter rims!

Yes, they are my 16" stockers painted. I masked off the outer lip and painted them.
The paint has lasted about 3 weeks with no problems


And here are my eyelids:

It's nice you can have two sets for each season. Our winters aren't as bad as yours but I'm keeping my 17x7's and I've got them wrapped with all season tires. It's good enough here but I'm sure not for Vermont. Besides, if it snows more than 6 inches here, I take the bus :-)

Good looking wheels anyway. I like how you kept your stock wheels and just got creative with 'em for the winter.

Where did you get those eye lids at? I am wanting to put a cf hood on, and those would look great.

Glad everyone likes them! At first i wasnt sure if I liked them but now Ive gotten nothing but good remarks about them.

what kind of paint did you use?

First I used rustolium primer, and then rustolium semi-gloss black paint.

Where did you get those eye lids at?

The eyelids I made myself. They arent actual carbon fiber but carbon fiber sticker stuff. You can get it at advance auto. I had to cut the pieces out and then hair dryer it to make it contour to the shape of the light.
