Thanks, I was looking at an ST in the same color. I almost bought the ST but, as I mentioned, the seats were a little too firm for my old butt. I also looked at a C-Max but the Focus won because it handled much better and had the options I wanted. I really wanted a manual trans but the only one in my area was black and I'm not a fan of trying to keep a black vehicle clean.

Blue is not much better bro, my ride is Sonic blue which is about the same. Light colors are about the only ones that can take some dust and not show it.

Now that Tangerine Scream ST color might take some dust and not look bad!

Blue does show dirt too but black shows every little swirl, scratch or imperfection. It may not be noticed by many, but it's the kind of thing that will drive me nuts.

Besides, blue is my favorite color as well!

Good to see you on here (and the same to reddog) I LOVE the color, in my case I took the Black one instead of color searching more... (grin)

ST's color is closer to your handle than the original Screamin' yellow hatch IMHO, from the pic it's similar to the old SVT blue I liked as well.

Don't know what you've been drivin' in the meantime, the Focus' handling is addictive so enjoy the new ride!

(Look out for the "mod." bug, there's some folks on here working away at some interesting "fixes" for the new Focus already - like checking out Mazda motor mount swaps for example....

Yeah, it is already starting. I am definitely getting the engine cover now. That is how it always starts. The next thing you know, handling, intake, exhaust and everything else starts calling my name. LOL

BTW, it is called Performance Blue which is also the name for the blue ST color. So, I believe it actually is the same color.

Thanks guys. I am in a new house and start a new job on the 18th. It will take me a little longer than usual but you can bet the car will see improvements.

Here are a couple other vehicles I have had since the last Focus:

06 Mustang:

03 Explorer:

I won first place at SlamFest '06, in my division, with the Explorer. SlamFest is the largest car and truck show in Florida. The truck was totaled by my best friend. He borrowed it because his truck wouldn't start. Sadly, he was killed in the accident and no other vehicles were involved. Life is really crazy sometimes.
