Fiesta Holding Value Better Than MK3 Focus?

I'd bet THAT has more to do with resale values than anything else!

Out of curiosity, I built a nicely equipped 2013 SE Sedan with a 5-speed. And the car ended up costing 17,400. And the Same car only an S was 15,600. Me personally would buy the Focus over the Fiesta. But it is a much more expensive car over the two.

Yeah you're probably right, fiestas haven't made nearly as much news with recalls like the focus has. But idk, its just that focuses are more expensive brand new, so I would have expected that they have even prices at the very least

The DPS6 automatic is available in both the Focus and the Fiesta.

This, and they sold far fewer Fiestas as of late than they have Foci as there isn't a strong value proposition to purchase the Fiesta new.

Its this fact that tends to make it appear that the value is higher second hand is that there are fewer available on the second hand market.

A loaded fiesta costs around $21k on the sticker, you could still get a decently equipped Focus for that new, and a lot of people and companies did just that.
