the adapters will make the wheels stick out one inch further. not too big of a deal if you like that look.
The rims are a 0mm offset, stock focus rims around around 50mm (give or take a few mm depending on which stock rim) 50mm is just under 2 inches. so add that to the adapter that rim, and they will be sticking out of your fender almost 3 inches.
40mm offset on a 16x7 is a safe fit with a 205/50 while still looking aggressive. a 16x8.25 at 0 offset will stick out a lot. There is a happy medium between the two if you dont mind fender rolling/ pulling/ stretched tires and a lot of comber. Hopefully someone will chime in with specs for that, or just search
Eventually lowering or eventually stancing? If you're just lowering I wouldnt go over a 7.5-8 wide depending on the offset. Stance/fitment is a whole different ball game..
