Your negativity has just been more constant and in your face over the past week than anyone else's. Even REV, who has a major ax to grind, has at least been making some helpful comments.

Lets hope

I PMed the Ford Customer Service person who has arranged for me to receive a call. I don't think a person should have to do this to get a vehicle fixed but I guess thats how Ford works . I am honestly not gonna get my hopes up though because the dealer networks in my area is notoriously bad. To give you an example the Chevy devision of one the the big networks recently called the police on a customer because they sold the car to him for too low of a price. Thanks for all the replies everyone! I wish would have found these forums before buying the car because with all the information here I would definitely have made a different decision.

I _have_ made helpful comments. I told SouthernGal to dump her Focus now. If she takes my advice, she'll avoid a lot of wasted time and aggravation. That's pretty helpful.

If SouthernGal even does dump her focus she will get ed in the a** due to the fact that these cars depreciate like nothing I have ever seen! Especially the SEL (mine) and Titanium ones!

LMAO after reading these forums I think its clear there is an issue with the Focus transmission overall. Some may disagree and thats fine because everyone is entitled to their opinion, including me. I guess there is a reason that there are so many used 2012 Foci at some of the local dealerships

I would love to hear the story behind that one. Called the police??? I had to sign a signature pad confirming the price wouldn't, couldn't be altered by the dealer

Lemon Law?

So I have been doing research about what to do if the transmission issues keep occurring one of them being the lemon law. I went to talk to a friend that knows a little about this stuff and from what I can tell according to NC lemon law guidelines if the fix has been attempted 4 times and the issue is not fixed the manufacturer must replace the car or buy it back. Of course I don't want to have to go through the whole process but I will if I have to. I just wanted to know if anyone had been through a lemon law case?

Actually one of the people I work with drives a ford fusion that recently had transmission issues (was going out of gear and stuff). Its been fixed though and I don't think she has had problems since. People at work joke about us being the only two that drive fords while at the same time being the only two having car trouble lol. Still they drive corollas and chevy cruzes which in my opinion are garbage

Edit : just googled it and apparently it was a big issue at one point with the transmissions in the fusions as well as other ford cars that used the same transmission.
