I want more sidewall.

05 st stock wheels want more of a sidewall..205/50/16 is what i have now what other size can i use without any problems?

I used 205/55/16. they are taller, but no longer a low profile tire and tend to bulge out. I will see if I can get a pic tomorrow.

Numbers wise the 205/55R16 is about .8" taller. Now while we don't show it as a proper fit, there is plenty of room in there as long as you don't go to wide. Obviously if Dodgeguy has done it, it would work, but be ready to have your spedo be off just a little.

Think about a swap of wheels to get yourself some 15's if you really want more sidewall....

Lots of folks looking for 16s for their winter tires if they have 17s for summer...

That way you could get some decent stock aluminum wheels if that's the way you want to go.

205/55 works just fine. I use it as snow tires no probes

Sorry this took so long... the pic of my car is with 195/65/15 winter tires. No problems.

I've never seen any that don't drive a 4x4 looking for more side wall.

No problem. Tire calculators say that the speedo will be off about 2mph, but I am not so sure. I know it it different, but when using any app on my phone or other gps, it shows I am going the correct speed now, with the taller tires....
