And that too ... since the SCCA has more support and better insurance.

They are able to keep the costs down.

But I do think the prices are going up a bit because of the places we utilize are starting to go up on cost as well. Thanks Obama.

But still significantly less than the BMW events.

Oh did you know that you can go to the Circuit events once a quarter for 75. with some teachings.

It's only 78 if you're a non member and only for the first event. Something changed with the national BMWCCA that made it so they couldn't just charge non members a few bucks more so what you're doing is buying a one year BMWCCA membership that first time. After that first event it's $30 for every event for the next year. I personally really like running with the BMW guys. Yes, you're thrown into a class you can't possibly win, but you always get plenty of runs, they start on time and they finish early. For me, they're also almost an hour closer to home than Royal Purple.

Nobody wants to see a plain old black focus driving around all jacked up when there are sexy 2's speeding around the cones on the verge of tipping over. You need more stickers Yuri.
I am interested to see what pictures Ray shot though.

Oh hey Yuri ... and OF COURSE!!!

I actually even got Seth in action as well.

I was able to take photos of 100 cars!!! Since I am now helping Jan with the Worker Assignments. I don't have to work the heats (I didn't say I wouldn't, I just now have a choice). So, I decided this last time to take photos of everyone that was not in my heat. But since Seth was at the end of ours and I was at the beginning, I was able to catch him.

Lots of photos ... and almost done working on them. I am going to post them here, on facebook and on the HouSCCA site.

So keep an eye out. I will PM you guys when I get them online.

Ray

I'm going to miss the next three BMW events and I'm a bit bummed. I've got commitments this month, rallycross next month and MotoGP in April. They're a good group though and we're quite lucky that we can autocross pretty much every other weekend all year in Houston.
