So I went on a roadtrip this morning to meet another member and pick up these:



They are 18 x 7 Enkei Adams made for A&L Racing. They weigh in a just a bit over 21# which I think is decent. I swear my ST200s weigh more than that. (By comparison I just ordered chrome OEM 15" wheels for my wife's van and they are 18# each!) They are about 9 years old and look pretty good for their age. I couldn't argue with the price, especially considering I didn't have to pay to ship them, just half a tank of gas. I will post another picture once I get them polished up. If anyone saw my How-to thread from when I hand polished my ST200's (which are going to be for sale....hint, hint....) you know these will look like new when I am done. :)

Yup. I have always loved star rims, I saw pics of them on his silver 09 and they looked good. I may go out and put them beside mine just to get an idea. too cold to actually put one on.

Winter mode....these are 55 series so it makes the car look like it's sitting on coils (thanks for the compliment, Wes...lol) since they fill up the wheel wells;




ST2K5, Yeah, I have enjoyed those Mondeos I bought from you and had fun polishing them up but that was almost 3 years ago now and it's time to try something new and send them on to another member, maybe for their first set up upgraded rims. Plus, rims weren't in my upgrade budget this year and selling them will buy me my SVT front brake upgrade. I am hoping to find a set of SVT rear caliper brackets so I can do front and rear. I know a guy who owns a Focus specific junkyard who I'm going to call on Monday.

Well, UPS came today and while these aren't for the FoFo and have nothing to do with the build contest, we all love shiny things, so check these out.... Not bad for being 15 years old (For my wife's FoWin);




Not that size matters (lol), but compared to my new rims (4X108 meets 5X108);




Pretty sad but those 15" chrome OEM's cost me as much than the Enkeis once I paid for shipping. I couldn't argue with the price at all though since there is virtually no curb rash and they still shine almost like new. These must have been off of somebody's Sunday driver. My wife needed new tires anyways and since her van is in awesome shape for being a '96 and low miles I decided to do something nice for it.
