Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI - Boot button

I really hope somebody can help me. I went to the zoo and a Monkey stole a button off my car. It is the button on the boot trim on the very right (not the main boot button underneath. The button locks and unlocks the car if the fob is in your pocket (same as the button on the outside of the two front door handles. The dealer said I would need to buy the whole trim for £180 and spray it to match the car. Does anyone know what the button is called or part number or where I can get one.

Moved this to the MkIII section assuming you have an '11 or newer (year wasn't mentioned).

The "Focus Electric" section is for the battery powered cars, and isn't very active.

Cheers

I do not really know what to say except that, if you finish by buying the part, why would you paint it to match it ? Why not just taking the button and put it on your current handle ? ...

What year is your car? Is it a hatchback, sedan or wagon. I looked on a ford parts site and I don't know if they have it for the U.S version focus.

Does the handle look like a door handle or is it the rubber button under the trim above the license plate?

It is 2010 UK model. Hatchback. It is not the handle it is the small strip above the licence plate (but it is the same button that they have on the handle). I can buy the strip and just replace the button but £180 is a lot for the strip just to get the button. On the internet they call it the rear trim. The button is on the right hand side of the trim. I have not found anyone whith one on there boot on the internet. I have found pictures of door handles with the button. Just the button is what I'm after if anyone can help.

I'll see if I can find it soon. My parts web site is not working right now for some reason.
