Exhausts from eBay.

Hi my 2003 SVT is in need of a new cat back exhaust and I was wondering if anyone has bought any from eBay before. I'm kinda right on money and don't wanna spend 500 on a new one at this point in time. So should the 150 ones from eBay do the trick?

$150 will cost you $1000+ in problems. Just get quality parts and get it over with. Its cheaper in the end.

I bought a new Bassani cat back system on ebay for $120.00 plus shipping it is a little loud but my son love`s it I don`t think it added anything poiwer wise I would keep the stock system

do not buy off/ebay brand performance parts on ebay. do buy name brand stuff because sometimes there are really good deals.

try trubendz not horrible fit. easy bolt on but i would reccomend installing then having the shop fit it properly.

A pipe is a pipe is a pipe. As far catbacks go. Grab the ebay set up and save yourself a few bucks. That money is better spent else where, where it matters more. There is no difference between a ss pipe from one company or another. They all use the same chinese pipe. Some just stamp their name on it and charge you 4 times the price.

Nearly every dsm in the country is running an ebay exhaust and ebay fmic and they make quadruple the power a focus makes on average.

Trubendz is overpriced. $400 for a catback using someone elses muffler? Get real. The trendy name is the only thing keeping them alive. Trubendz yo! lol

well, make sure it's stainless steel mandrel bent. aluminum will be shitty, steel is heavy and rusts. so "a pipe is a pipe is a pipe" is in fact false. crush bends will do you no good. if you can find a stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust on ebay it will probably be magnaflow or similar

I could take some pictures for you. But 2.5" ss, mandrel bent, all tig welded, with hangers and hardware for $100 to my door. With a resonator, full muffler, and chrome tip i might add.

I run and have run the megan 3" turbo back exhaust on 3 dsm's now. Have one on there currently. Most popular exhaust on dsm's across the country. People putting down serious power. They will all tell you the same thing. A pipe is a pipe, same goes for the cai's too. $300 aem intakes, ebay sells the same exact thing for $40.

Use the $300 you'll save for mods that matter.
